They would like to add a vigorous surgeon who will be very active surgically and capable of performing difficult cases. Medical Center will become a level 2 Trauma Center and they would ideally prefer a surgeon who is capable of performing difficult traumatic surgical cases and Pediatrics ENT. Medical Center is part of a GME affiliation and will know soon if the program will be approved for an ENT residency program as well.

? Demonstrated expertise in peritoneal malignancies, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and/or pancreatic cancer.
? Educate residents in state-of-the-art care of common malignancies such as breast, lung, and colon.
? Provide residents with experience in the management of complex disease involving endocrine pancreas and in surgery for benign and malignant tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal.
? Provide residents with understanding of multidisciplinary management of the major cancers primarily treated with surgery, such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer and liver cancer.
