NO Visa' s. Looking for a great opportunity to join a very busy, very well established two-physician group with potential to acquire it a few years down the road? How about a perfect mix of hometown flavor and city amenities in the piney forests of east Texas, with access to an international airport just 90 minutes away? Two Board Certified Internists, in practice for more than 20 years each, are looking for a BE/BC Internist to join them. One physician plans to retire in the next 2-4 years. Great potential to acquire the practice and bring in your own associates in a few years. Practice currently closed to new patients because of existing patient base. Undersupply of IMs in the area means there? s plenty of unmet demand. Call may be 1: 3 or 1: 4 depending on which call group the new physician joins. Attractive office location adjacent to hospital. Office has 7 exam rooms, 3 physician offices, large business office and support space. Financial: - Base salary with production bonus - Sign-on or Commencement Bonus - Student Loan Repayment - Marketing - CME - Relocation - Potential monthly stipend for the remainder of training (if applicable) Facility: - JCAHO accredited - A broad range of acute and critical care services are available, including interventional cardiology, CV surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, plastic surgery and more. The hospital completed a major renovation in 2007 and features advanced diagnostic services including open and closed MRI, 64-slice CT and other advanced modalities. Location: - 100 miles from Houston - Community population of 40, 000; retail and medical service area of about 200, 000 with a broad economic base and consistent growth - Nestled in the rolling hills, forests and lakes of central east Texas - A great place to raise a family, with low crime and a high quality of life - Culturally diverse, with families from a variety of countries and cultures - Many small city amenities including museums, a zoo, fine dining and extensive shopping options, community theater and symphony, etc. - Friendly neighborhoods, lots of small community events, and other benefits of the simple life. - At the same time, however, its status as a commercial and economic hub for a 60-mile radius with a population approaching 250, 000 means that the typical day-time population of the city is about 100, 000! - Consequently, one can find a much wider range of amenities and services than typical in a? home-town? setting, such as fine dining, a surprisingly large zoo (complete with hippo, giraffes, big cats and lots of other? big city? inhabitants), 21 cinema screens, two country clubs, etc. - TORT reform - No state income tax
