An exciting hospital-employed opportunity for a Physician Board Certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine. As Medical Director of Occupational Health Services, duties would include the following: 
  • Provide weekly medical provider services at established OHS clinic and designated work-sites, which may include:
    • DOT physicals
    • Worker compensation evaluations and treatment
    • Pre-placement exams
    • Fit for duty exams
    • Health surveillance evaluations
    • Periodic exams
  • Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers, NPs and PAs, for all clinical services
  • Authorization of RN nursing protocols related to occupational health nursing procedures (AAOHN guidelines)
  • Review and authorization of standard operating procedures for all OHS client contracts
  • Participation in the development of OHS policies, procedures and protocols
  • Representation of OHS position on health and safety issues with medical staff as necessary
